Urs Wolfensberger
Urs Wolfensberger is member of the IFAAR-board since 2001. He is part of the WEMF AG company management in his function as Head of Marketing and Sales.
Urs Wolfensberger started his career in 1977 as a customer consultant for ofa, Orell Füssli Werbe AG, today Publicitas. In 1980, the communication manager became responsible for different projects in the fields of marketing and communications, before he became CEO of Publimedia between 1992 and 1995.
Then, Urs Wolfensberger developed the sector online marketing for PubliGroupe and worked as managing director for Real Media AG. Between 2001 and 2005, he further developed Internet usage research for MMXI Switzerland GmbH, respectively Nielsen//NetRatings, and is known since then as one of the most prominent Internet researchers in Switzerland. In 2005, he returned to Publicitas where he worked as vice director and Directorate-General assistant of PubliPresse. Urs Wolfensberger is also teaching at SAWI and other schools, and is engaged as an expert for federal qualifying examinations for communication experts.
